FLEECE / AI BRAIN
Connector · CRM & marketing

Your HubSpot notes, worth reading.

The context on a deal lives in the notes reps type against contacts and companies — where no AI can reach it. The HubSpot connector turns every CRM note into a note in your company brain, on your own machine, where Claude, Cursor and your agents can actually read it.

The Fleece AI Brain HubSpot connector syncs the notes from your HubSpot CRM — the written records reps log against contacts, deals, companies and tickets — into a local-first knowledge base of plain Markdown and SQLite on your own machine. Each note's HTML is stripped to clean text, titled by its first line, and made retrievable, so any MCP-compatible app such as Claude Desktop or Cursor can answer from your real sales and marketing context, with the source one click away.

What syncs from HubSpot

The connector reads HubSpot notes — the CRM's written-knowledge object — and stores each as a memory node: an ordinary file you can open, link and search, not a row locked behind a seat license.

CRM notes

Every HubSpot note — the record reps log against contacts, deals, companies and tickets — is pulled through the CRM search API.

Clean, readable text

Each note's HTML is stripped and its entities decoded to plain text; notes with no real content are skipped, not stored empty.

Titled by first line

Every note is titled by its opening line, so "Call Acme about renewal" is findable at a glance.

Bounded first sync

The first run backfills notes touched in the last 90 days, so connecting doesn't page your entire account history at once.

Incremental after that

Sync then resumes from the newest last-modified timestamp it has seen, fetching only recently-changed notes each run.

Built-in deduplication

A seen-ledger keyed on the note id guarantees a re-sync never creates a duplicate.

Connect HubSpot in four steps

No CSV export, no Zap to maintain — one sign-in from the desktop app.

  1. 01

    Install Fleece AI Brain

Download the desktop app for macOS, Windows or Linux and open your vault — a folder of plain Markdown files on your machine.

  2. 02

    Open Connectors and pick HubSpot

In the app, open the connectors panel, choose HubSpot, and sign in with your account. OAuth is brokered securely; your HubSpot notes never pass through Fleece's servers.

  3. 03

Scope what the connector can read

The connector reads only what the connected account's HubSpot permissions and scopes allow. Sign in with a restricted user to keep the scope tight.

  4. 04

Let it sync — then ask

Sync runs in the background and stays up to date. Point Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP app at your Brain and ask what was last said to an account.

01 · The problem

The deal context is written down. Just not where AI can read it.

Everything that actually explains an account — the objection a rep logged, the promise made on a call, why the renewal stalled — is typed into HubSpot notes, one contact and one deal at a time. It is real institutional memory, and it is invisible the moment you step outside the CRM.

The HubSpot connector surfaces it. Each note becomes a permanent entry in one living knowledge graph, linked to the people, companies and projects it names — so the reason a customer churned in spring is still one question away in autumn.

02 · Local-first

Your notes go from HubSpot to your disk. Nowhere else.

Authentication is a standard brokered OAuth sign-in, but the sync reaches the HubSpot CRM API from the desktop app on your machine and writes each note straight into your vault. Raw notes never land on Fleece's servers.

That is the whole trust model: we cannot read your HubSpot notes, period. The text is yours as Markdown and SQLite, it opens in Obsidian or any editor, and if you ever leave, you take everything with you.

  • +Direct HubSpot-to-device sync — raw notes never touch Fleece's servers
  • +Vault = plain .md files + SQLite, 100% Obsidian-compatible
  • +Works offline once synced; cloud sync is optional and end-to-end encrypted
03 · With your AI

Give every AI app your CRM's written memory.

One copy-paste connects the Brain to Claude Desktop, Cursor, Cline, Zed or agents you build. From then on, "what did we tell this account about the discount?" is answered from the actual note — with the source one click away.

Because every agent and tool reads the same graph, you stop briefing each AI on the account by hand. On Teams, the organization map also shows which agents used that context and what they cost.

HubSpot connector — FAQ

Do my HubSpot notes pass through Fleece's servers?+

No. Sign-in uses a brokered OAuth flow, but the sync reaches the HubSpot CRM API from the desktop app on your machine and writes each note straight into your local vault. Your note contents never land on Fleece's servers.

What exactly does the connector sync, and can I limit it?+

It syncs HubSpot notes — the written records logged against contacts, deals, companies and tickets — not the contact or deal records themselves. The first run backfills the last 90 days, then only recently-changed notes. It reads only what the connected account's permissions allow, so you scope it with a restricted user.

Does it write anything back to HubSpot?+

No. The connector is read-only: it pulls notes into your knowledge base and never creates, edits or deletes anything in your HubSpot account.

How often does it sync?+

Sync runs in the background from the desktop app and resumes from the newest last-modified timestamp it has processed, so each run only fetches recently-changed notes. A seen-ledger keyed on the note id means re-syncs never create duplicates.

Which plan do I need to connect HubSpot?+

The local brain is free, and connectors are the paid lever: Solo (€12/month) includes up to 3 connected tools, Pro (€24/month) makes them unlimited with auto-sync. Every plan starts with a 14-day trial, no card required.

How do I ask Claude or Cursor about my HubSpot notes?+

Connect the Brain to Claude Desktop, Cursor or any MCP-compatible app with a single copy-paste. Your AI then answers from the synced notes, citing the exact one it drew from.

Can I open the synced notes outside the app?+

Yes. Every note is an ordinary Markdown file in your vault, fully Obsidian-compatible — open, edit or grep it with any tool, and take it with you if you ever leave.

What happens if I disconnect HubSpot?+

Sync stops, and everything already in your vault stays yours — the notes are local files, not a mirror that vanishes with the connection.
